Who are we?

We have been happily married since the summer of 2013. We met each other at University in Minnesota where we both graduated with degrees in ministry. We are both licensed ministers with the Assemblies of God and have a heart to serve Jesus together, wherever He may lead. In 2015 we began our overseas journey ministering to refugees and immigrants in Madrid, where we learned Castilian Spanish. In 2017, we moved to Cairo and served for two years, ministering and learning Egyptian Arabic. In 2020, we returned to Cairo again for a three year term, serving as career.

Brooke grew up her whole life doing children's ministry. She has many skills and talents that really make her stand out as a Kids Pastor. Among other things: she can juggle, clown, ride unicycle, sculpt balloon animals, perform magic tricks, and is a great story teller. Brooke's experience includes more than two years as the early childhood pastor at a large church in MN, leading summer kids camps and programs, children's ministry to immigrants in Spain, and more than 20 years of ministering to kids with her family. Most importantly, Brooke has a huge heart to see children grasp the concepts of the Bible and know Jesus in a personal way.

Michael has engaged in cross-cultural ministry in various different countries including: Mexico, USA, Macedonia, Spain and Egypt. His heart is to help people from all over the world meet with the living God, regardless of where they came from. Over the years he has invested many hours in leading Bible studies, preaching the word, leading worship, and discipling seekers. Michael has also been writing music for more than a decade and professionally releases music under the artist name, Humble Feet.

What Exactly Are We Doing?

All Souls Egypt is a church planting effort based out of Cairo. We minister, as the Holy Spirit leads, to all variety of peoples living in Egypt. We reach the lost and disciple the found. Through partnership with national churches, ministries, and leaders, we endeavor to equip and multiply the Kingdom of God across Egypt to the ends of the earth.

Cairo is a city of more than twenty-five million people. Our ministry center is home to one of the few English-speaking churches in the city. Our congregation consists of various nationalities from around the world, many of whom are Egyptian. We have taken on the role of team leaders for the entire All Souls Egypt ministry, which includes leading the personnel who serve with us on the ground. Michael is the lead pastor of our church plant, in addition to partnership with indigenous ministry efforts and daily personal witness. Brooke continues to lead and pioneer our children’s ministry, as well as filling the administrative role for our team and ministry facilities. We have two sons, who are a joy to everyone they meet.
